NZQA unit standards include

6401 & 6402 – First aid

10508 – Identify electricity systems in preparation for work. ( 6 credits )

18038 – Demonstrate knowledge of and apply health and safety in the electricity supply environment. ( 5 credits )

10507 – Use personal protection equipment within an electricity supply environment. ( 4 credits )

12300 – Demonstrate knowledge of electricity industry safety statutes and codes – NZECP 34 & SM-EI  ( 6 credits )

US 23229– Use a safety harness for personal fall prevention when working at height (4 credits)

US 10509– Climb and work on electricity network structures (6 credits)

US 17025– Carry out a rescue from an electrical structure (2 credits )
